His first deck (Waite-Albano) was purchased around 1972, before first hearing Dr. Hoeller speak on Kabbalah (and subsequently Tarot) in 1973.  As head of the Gnostic Society (Los Angeles) and its church (Ecclesia Gnostica) Dr. Hoeller provided the setting for people who embrace the Tarot to share and study it together.  Between 1981 and 1982 Bryan received a weekly Celtic Cross reading from a member of that group, and within a year the “art” of reading had developed.  The strong and clear experience of Intuition eventually led to conducting Tarot Seminars with the intent that by experiencing readings for others as well as oneself, these seminars could lead to this art developing in more people.
